Graham Cunningham

Horse Racing TV Presenters - Graham Cunningham

Graham Cunningham is a well know face when it comes to Horse Racing TV Coverage and he will be taking his expertise to Channel Four in 2013. Cunningham has been a regular in front of our cameras on Racing UK for some years now and his popularity has not gone un-noticed by the new producers of Channel Four Racing. He is used as an analyst at the moment and that is likely to be his role on CH4 rather than being a main presenter with his form and betting knowledge second to none.

Cunningham has a long and varied background in the sport having started his career as a racecourse reporter. Following that he spent time as a writer for the Sporting Life, the Racing Post and the London Evening Standard where he built up his considerable knowledge of the game for which he is every much respected.

Following his career as a writer he moved into TV with Racing UK where he has remained ever since and he can be seen at the biggest meetings of the season on the Channel. Cunningham will often be alongside main presenter Nick Luck for RUK with the feeling being that they form the best partnership which is something they are likely to continue with the Channel 4 Racing Team. He has also had stints working on American TV during the Breeders Cup and at Royal Ascot which highlights the level at which he is held in within the racing community.

It will be fascinating to see how Cunningham fares on Channel 4 in 2013 but we reckon he will be a big hit with terrestrial viewers. His insight and style should suit the wider audience down to a tea and he is likely to be one of the key analysts for the majority of the big races through the season on CH4.
